Tonbridge craft beer arriving 2017

Posted on September 20, 2016

Craft beer is arriving in Tonbridge just in time for Summer 2017, and it goes by the name of Fuggles Beer Cafe.  With its first cafe located on Grosvenor road in Tunbridge Wells, the new Tonbridge craft beer cafe will follow the same style and format.  Only this time it will have input from yous truly.

Fuggles owner Alex Greig has commisioned Kook to propose the interior design scheme for 165 High Street, Tonbridge.  And we can’t wait to get started.

The location for the Tonbridge craft beer cafe is currently home to Bonners carpet shop.  A well established family run business that has been trading for the last 120 years.  The site was originally home to Stidolphs auctioneers and cabinet makers.  The original building was built in 1708, lasting for 170 years before being demolished in 1878.  The new building was the location of Lawsons antiques for over 50 years, before Bonners took over.  Until now.

As of Summer 2017, it will become home to the second Fuggles Beer Cafe, without doubt Fuggles will continue in the footsteps of the buildings successful predecessors and will be their home for many years to come.

Keep an eye on the projects page where we will begin to upload designs as the project evolves.
